Empowering the Persecuted is a newly established humanitarian organization born from a deep conviction that no community should face persecution alone. Founded in 2024, we are building our presence in Nigeria with a clear mission: to stand alongside vulnerable populations who have been displaced, marginalized, and forgotten. Our journey began when a collective of humanitarian workers, community leaders, and advocates recognized the urgent need for dedicated support in regions affected by conflict, terrorism, and inter-community violence. Though we are still in our early stages, our commitment is unwavering. We are actively forming partnerships with local communities, building networks with trusted organizations, and designing programs that respond to both immediate humanitarian needs and long-term development goals. As we grow, our focus remains clear: to empower persecuted and displaced individuals with the resources, support, and resilience needed to rebuild their lives and reclaim their futures.

Temporary housing solutions, shelter materials, and support for displaced families to ensure safety and dignity during displacement.

Distribution of hygiene kits, clothing, blankets, medical supplies, and other critical items needed for survival and basic dignity.

Regular distribution of nutritious food packages to families facing food insecurity, ensuring no one goes hungry during crisis periods.

Providing safe drinking water through water purification systems, distribution of clean water, and support for sustainable water infrastructure.
When disaster strikes and communities are displaced, immediate humanitarian relief can mean the difference between life and death, which is why our emergency response teams act swiftly to deliver essential supplies, food, clean water, and shelter to families who have lost everything. Working closely with local partners, we ensure that aid reaches the most vulnerable populations including widows, children, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities through distribution systems designed to uphold dignity, respect, and compassion while meeting urgent needs.
Establishing and maintaining secure shelters for individuals and families fleeing violence, terrorism, and persecution.
Rapid response systems for communities affected by terrorism, inter-community conflict, and targeted violence.
Working with local leaders to create safer environments through early warning systems and community protection.

Community-based support groups where survivors share experiences, build connections, and heal together in safe, facilitated environments.
Mental health awareness programs, stress management training, and resilience-building workshops that equip entire communities with healing tools.
Specialized trauma support for children through play therapy, art therapy, and age-appropriate counseling to help young survivors process their experiences.
The psychological scars left by persecution, violence, and displacement run deep. Anxiety, depression, PTSD, and grief can become constant companions for those who have survived trauma. These emotional burdens can be as debilitating as physical injuries, affecting how individuals connect, trust, and navigate the world after crisis.
Our mental health programs offer compassionate, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care. We integrate mental health into our humanitarian support, training local counselors, creating safe spaces, and providing evidence-based care that honors cultural beliefs, empowering survivors to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
